I used only one can of the green chilis, which was a big mistake. And instead of black beans, I bought organic refried black beans (beans, water, spices), which was a <i>major</i> mistake. I had this beautiful pan of peppers, onions, tomatoes and habanero- when I dumped the gloppy refried beans in the skillet, my heart fell. Dumb dumb. Can you tell I don't cook very much Mexican? I baked it in a deep dish, and it came out beautiful, spectacular enough to serve at a party. Next time, I'll follow the directions <i>exactly</i>, and I'll use the habanero seeds too. Garnished with sour cream and avocado slices = AWESOME. I tried the Mexican Cornbread Casserole.
