Personally, P&P on film for me has always meant the 1995 BBC miniseries, not the pap that Joe Wright put out in 2005- it's ok if you didn't know about the book, but I got very very tired of seeing Keira Knightley pout. And the director had absolutely no business telling off the BAFTA lot for not nominating her that year, even if the Oscar lot lost their heads.
