An open letter to North America

I took the Tofutti Cutie quiz and it was so wrong I can’t help but question their methodology. In the first place, I don’t know why I even took the quiz since EVERYBODY KNOWS that my favourite flavour is mint choc chip, which are creamy and yummy. The quiz decided that I must like the peanut butter ones and frankly that’s ridiculous because as an Englishman I reject the use of peanut butter in my sweet treats. So I say to you, you ridiculous North Americans, that you can keep your Reese’s, your peanut M&Ms, your *shudder* peanut butter Twix. Although I may occasionally eat a PB&J sandwich, I contend that it’d be better with some Branston Pickle than with jam (which every civilised person knows is only for putting on toast at breakfast with the occasional exception for some yummy kind of pudding. My mum used to make us some puddings which use jam and they were delicious. )

So, in conclusion, the mint choc chip Cuties are the bomb. Rock on Chicago!

I also took the quiz and was told I like peanut butter – total lie! If I were pressed for an answer I think I’d go with reg vanilla. And I concur with Andy, peanut butter in sweets is icky – but I disagree about the peanut M&Ms, they’re yummy!

Well, it told me I like mint choc. chip, and it was ON THE MONEY! Maybe you guys weren’t being truthful with your quiz answers.

And I fall somewhere in between with the peanut butter debate.
